Elaine Davis, who performs as Spaces of Disappearance, recently came to the CHIRP studios to hang out with CHIRP volunteer Jessi D. They chatted about the origin of her performing name, writing sad girl songs when you're not a sad girl, and singing into your phone as a songwriting process. They also check in about Elaine's work with Frontwoman Fest, a festival that features local female musicians to benefit Girls Rock Chicago.
